What Does Halo's Haven Farm Do?

Our Focus

We are trying to help break the cycle of horse slaughter, animal cruelty, and neglect. We have gone to places you could not imagine to save these poor animals from shocking and devastating situations. They're worth it and we do everything we can to help them realize they deserve a life of peace, security and safety. We hope you will help us help them too.

Rescue

There are untold stories of horses who are in unimaginably dire situations. Moments away from a cruel and frightening death. Intentional injuries inflicted upon them, uncured illnesses, being locked away for days or weeks, starvation, and absolute vile cruelty.

Rehabilitate

These horses are literally shell shocked, fearful, exhausted, injured, in pain, and sick. It takes emergency veterinary care, dental care and farriers to help a horse back from the edge of all they faced. We are so grateful for our incredible team of equine specialists.

Rehome

It can often take several years before a horse truly reaches the "sound" point of their life, but in some instances it happens sooner. We take extraordinary care in where our wards are placed because they do deserve a forever home that is safe and secure.
